As someone in tech, I quite enjoyed this book and it made for a fun book club discussion! I do struggle to understnad if someone NOT in the tech world would enjoy it quite as much - it has very specific references (it may end up dating itself) and a lot of "insider" snark, but it worked for me. I did prefer the more grounded-in-reality beginning to the later parts, which (without spoiling too much) got quite fantastically wide-reaching but I feel like also got a bit big for the author to control and explain neatly by the end.
