I ADORED this book! Clara was such an interesting character who grew so much over the course of the book. I loved every element of the food truck, her relationship with her dad, the cutsie romance, and the enemies-to-friends storyline. It all came together so well. Maureen Goo is a fantastic writer — this is why I read young adult!
Moderate: Fire/Fire injury
Minor: Racism and Bullying

Minor: Misogyny, Vomit, Ableism, Eating disorder, Racism, Medical content, and Panic attacks/disorders
Underage drinking/smoking. No explicit antisemitism/Islamophobia/etc, but one scene involves a character cooking explicitly vegetarian dishes in a pan also used for dishes with pork and dismissing religious/ethical concerns; it's challenged by another character but not really touched on again.
