A really cute, steamy quick sports romance book

 Bi for Bi football boys

Garrett and Warner, brother’s best friend, teammates to lovers, bi-awakening…and add football.

This was a cute story with plenty of spice and honestly interesting characters. I loved the journey that they go through from crushes to FWB to realizing that feelings had matured into a lasting reality.

Recommend for those who want a change of pace from hockey boys.

Ramsey and Garret are FIRE together.
The banter between them was so funny to read and the chemistry was undeniable from the first chapter.
I loved so much these characters that I feel kind of bad for not rating with 5 star. I don't know what but something was missing from the plot but overall this was a really fun book to read

Reread/Relisten #1: April 2023

To get ready for book two, I thought a reread was in order. the second book isn't on audio yet, but when it does i am going to snatch that up so fast.

i did enjoy this read as much as i did the first time i read this book. Can't wait to read Houston's book!

4 stars: July 2022

a low, if anything, no angst book with football players. I loved Riley Hart's "Atlanta Lightning" series with Anson and Jeremy, so I was nervous coming in to this one hoping it would live up to my expectations.

i am glad i gave this a chance, i can see where some mixed reviews come in but the chemistry and banter with these two characters was great and i loved every part of it. That is why it was a high rating for me, also the writing was addictive so i devoured this book up.

i don't think that the ending is very realistic, but ehh didn't need that unnecessary drama ruining this sweetness haha.

Nick J Russo also did a great job with the narration, so highly recommend that if you like audiobooks.

This was extremely bland in a paint-by-numbers feeling way. I know romance is a very familiar genre as a whole once you've read enough romance, but this felt like its sole aim was to check boxes for a bunch of tropes and required emotional moments without ever making it feel like a natural progression. I should've seen the warning sign in the beginning that was the main character having their sexuality awakening by staring at a poster(???) instead of actually looking at the hot guy next to him that the poster was portraying and cut my losses.

Not bad. 4.5 stars.

I almost DNF but I'm glad I picked it up again and I enjoyed it this time. It was predictable, no much conflict but it was great overall. I mostly loved Ramsey and Houston's friendship. I hope to see Garrett and Ramsey again in the next book.
