Low angst, low stakes, an alternate football league that is generally accepting of queer players. It’s a brothers best friend situation but it’s not kept secret from Houston and he doesn’t freak out about it. I also liked how validating both Garrett and Ramsey were that Ramsey is definitely bi even though he’d never been with a man before Garrett. 

Two negatives: a few instances of anal with no lube (spit is NOT nature’s lube, Garrett) and the only women outside Mrs McRae were Ramsey’s “crazy exes.”
