Upon further contemplation I removed a star from this one. Although the art is far better than the Gary Frank one, having the members run around in their underwear for no reason is dumb. The plot was too fractured between Lightning Lads stuff and the missions the narrative was tenuous at best. The made up swear words that filled most of the dialogue with crap, essentially, took away even more from a thinly plotted poopfest. Such a shame that legion has promise to be interesting and they keep letting people phone it in.

This story arch should have been three of four issues longer. The ending to the Enemy Rising story is yada yada-ed so fast my head was spinning and it undercut the impact of everything that came before it.
