I absolutely love that the FMC is a badass, she stands her ground and she she knows how to hold herself. It's a little back and forth between Raegan and two of the guys but hopefully it builds up more in the second book. The cliffhanger was something I wasn't expecting but only because I forgot about it. What happened in the cliffhanger was something I suspected at the beginning but as I kept reading I kind of forgot about it.

Wow what a funny intense dark read that takes you on a roller coaster ride. Their are so many twists and turns . the ending is wow on to the next book.

this was better plot and less spice than I expected to be honest. as far as mafia romances go, this is a good one. I really liked the slight tweaks/spins on traditional RH male archetypes as well as the badass-ness of the FMC. there were a couple small moments where her reactions/emotions didnt align super well with her backstory/badass personality, but this didnt ruin anything for me either. as per usual in this style of romance, the twist at the end was predictable, but I did still enjoy the plot overall honestly. will be reading the next book, but I hope certain aspects ramp up 👀
