The new girl in town gets caught up on a vengeance fueled clown attack against the teenagers of Kettle Springs.  The local teens are all annoying and so are the adults in town.  The kills are gore soaked and I was surprised the main action started when it did and lasted till the end

Very fun if you're looking for a very specific genre of fiction. Don't read it because you want to read something "good", read it because you want a book that has the same vibes as a cheesy slasher movie.

Great teen slasher vibes with plot twists. Perfect for Halloween season. Had a hint of romance without it being the whole plot of the book. Beginning had a slower pace but then it REALLY picks up. Minor thing that bothered me was characters would be referred to be their whole names throughout the book

Enter and Be Blessed. Leave and Be Blessed. His mom had a QVC problem.

I don’t know, y’all. This was like Footloose meets Children of the Corn. It was supposed to be a teen slasher and as an avid teen slasher movie watcher, I was excited. This book let me down. Although, if you don’t mind the ridiculousness of 80’s teen movies, you’d probably like this. It was more funny than horrific and it should have come with a free MAGA hat.
