This book isn't my favourite out of all of them. I get that it's going to be slower at the start because it's building up to the ending, but Christ on a stick was it slow.
Anderson makes me want to throw up so much, first he wants to traumatize Juliette, then he want's to kill her and then he think's she's perfect and a "Good Girl"? That sentence grossed me the fuck out mind you. I love Kenji so much, I know we got lots of him in the last book but It felt empty without him in this book as much. I want more Kenji and Juliette moments. I crave them, it's my salvation.
I don't know how I feel about the ending of this book, I'm happy we got to get a glimpse into what the new world is like just after two weeks, but I wish we got to see a funeral or something for Emmaline. I just feel like in ended in an off way.
Taherah Mafi writes her books in such an amazing way, this series started years ago and it's still on of the best series ever. She writes her books in such a creative and inspiring way. I love every bit of it.
I can't wait to read about Aaron and Juliette's wedding and their marriage life. They deserve to be happy. Also I would like to point out that I think Juliette should get Aaron a dog. This book has mentioned a dog twice, and both times have been with Aaron. They need a pet dog, I need to see that happen. Please and thank you.
