So this is made up of five short, sweet Christmas romances.
The first story, Kismet and Cocoa was a great idea, Strangers meet during a snowstorm and instantly are attracted to each other. This really sounded great and I would have loved to read it, but it was so poorly edited that I had to give up, no problem, there were four other stories.

The second story Silver Bells and Cat Tails tells the story of cat cafe owner Tabitha and the man that fell asleep on her sofa and woke up covered in all of the cafe's cats. They like him, they think Tabitha and him are mates, they speak to Tabitha. I thought this was really cute, and thoroughly enjoyed reading it, but then I moved on to book three.

Meri Chris Mess sees music teacher Meri without a classroom as a fire in the school destroyed the room and all the instruments in it. With no budget beyond rebuilding the room, Meri is left to her own devices to make sure these kids get the music class they need. A horde of kindly senior citizens from the senior center and a hunky fireman who might be into her, but uses the word "friend" too much all line up to offer any assistance they can. This story was super sweet and enjoyable.

Story four, The Little Match Girl and the Billionaire was my favorite. This story follows Noelle (friend of Tabitha from story two) on a very terrible Christmas Eve. Her cafe burns to the ground, with it her home, the apartment above. She barely got out in her jammies and a coat. Homeless and in shock, she wanders around and finds a box of kittens, cold and abandoned. Wrapping them in her jacket, she freezes as she wanders the streets not sure what to do when she almost gets hit by a limo. Inside the limo billionaire Charles is beside himself with guilt. He helps Noelle into the car and to his mansion, all the while she thinks he's the chauffeur. This story has some humor and my favorite type of romance, mistaken identities. The two fall in love over the course of a night.

The fifth story, Check Yes or No, follows various segments of Sharie's life from girlhood to her mid thirties as she slowly realizes she has a crush on the boy next door. This one's a tearjerker, have some tissues handy. It's a great story, unique in it's telling. It hit a chord in me because I'm only a few years younger than the character and very distinctly remember the time periods that the snippets take place in.

As a whole, I'd say this book is well worth the price. Although I skipped over the first story, I feel that I got my money's worth with the other four. Book five didn't seem to fit with the rest. It was the only one that didn't involve cats (even Meri Chris Mess had the cat stocking) and it didn't have the same happy-go-lucky feel good vibe to it that the others had. They were very light reading, but this one had some weight to it. These are all written by obvious novel-writers and feel a bit rushed, like there should have been more to them.
