DID NOT FINISH

Didn't like narrator

By far, one of the best. To reread

I struggled with this one because I did feel the chemistry between the characters but the premise itself was a bit creepy to me. I was hoping that Quinn do something like have them not see each other for years (even though that would still be weird), but it does seem they grew up together.

For the same plot to work, maybe if the age gap was smaller? A lot smaller? And maybe the pivotle scene could have happened when they were 14 and 16 or something? He could have got married young at 18, been widowed by 23 and started to look at her her in a new light then.

Also the MMC was just so awful sometimes. And that was hard to handle.

But all of that said, I did enjoy this book and read it very quickly.

1.5 stars.

I loved the main characters but not everyone does.
