Uhmmm idk about this one. As this story went on and got increasingly paranormal, I liked it less. It's kind of like One of Us Is Lying but with less likable characters and ghosts. It felt like the paranormal aspects only existed to keep the plot somewhat interesting by causing freak accidents. But ultimately, the ghosty bits weren't really fleshed out. There's a pretty glaring plot hole with Jodi's mom. Jodi made some pretty dumb choices, like if you have evidence that will clear your friends, maybe turn it in! I also don't really get what the message is, if there is one. It takes a very 13 Reasons Why angle on suicide being attempted for attention, which is

Damn. This was great. The kind of ending that makes you want to start it all over again from the beginning right away. Despite feeling very far removed from the struggles of the main characters (high school), there was a lot of action to stay interested and wanting to know more about each person and their backgrounds. Fast read with an interesting mystery.
