I started reading this book in April lmao but I’m incapable of not finishing a book. I’ve had these books in my self probably since high school and have never read them and they’re def too YA for me lol.

I don't want to go to much into this book in case some people haven't read the first one. I did love it almost as much as the first one. I just wish there was a magical secret world that opened up to me every night. How awesome would that be. I could even handle the scary things that go bump in the night if it meant I could fly at midnight.

I really enjoyed this one because there's a lot more than just a setup going on. There's an actual plot conflict and things move forward and things change. This is the second in the series and so far I'm really enjoying these ones.

Stupid. I was very disappointed because usually I enjoy Westerfeld's books. In fact, I didn't even finish this one. And I won't be reading anymore of the midnighters series

Even less memorable than the first but still nice worldbuilding.

Two books reread in one day! Wonder if I can knock out the third one. It suffered a tiiiiiny bit from middle book syndrome, but was ultimately totally worth it and I l o v e d it.

The second book helped to develop the plot really well and I love what happens.

My reviews are short because I don't want to spoil! But again I recommend this if you like originality, but be sure to start with "The Secret Hour", the first book in the series.

A great installment to the series. I liked the additions to the lore and how the plot expanded when it just wasn't teenage protagonists vs bad things. Any plot holes that may have been lingering in the back of your mind after the first were probably adressed here.

I liked how we saw more of Melissa. I can't decide if I like her or not. She's a very peculiar character but I do like reading from her POV.

As always, Des is my favorite character so far.
