This was a pretty good book but it wasn’t nearly as captivating as her “After” books. It actually just pisses me off that I know Landon ends up marrying Dakota because right now I hate her and wish he would end up with Nora…or even freaking Posey. Although they did talk about Tessa and Hardin for a little bit, it wasn’t enough for me. I miss them

I really liked Landon during After and I was looking foward to read this book, but I expected a bit more from the story line, Landon is such an interesting character and I think there was way more she could have done with this story! But anyway it was quite good read☺

“I once felt like Dakota was my entire journey and my destination, but I’m starting to feel like I was no more than a stop along the way for her.”

After devouring the after series I knew I had to finish the spin off, Landon’s story. For this to make sense highly recommend reading the series prior to reading these however they could also be read as a standalone.

Landon leaves Washington for a fresh start navigating love and life in New York City. At the end of After Ever Happy Landon married the love of his life, but what Todd left out was who he actually married.

If you loved Landon on after you’re going to love this beautiful story of love, heartbreak and finding yourself in a big city!

Boring as hell, couldn't even finish it. This is the last time I'll be reading an Anna Todd book.

It was a bit boring imo and pretty basic. Needed more action.

this is very fanfiction. I love anna todd and the after series however, this was not put together as well. A simple story and good characters but the language and structure was all over the place. Will still read the second but no high expectations after this. i do love nora tho, my fav character

I wanted to love this book. So much. Mostly because the rest of the After books were a “cant put down”, read them all in a week, type of series.

This book follows Landon’s journey once he arrives in NYC. It was a lot of self talk and inner monologues, rather than interactions with other characters. It was nice to see his thoughts, but I often found them turning into “woes me” pity parties.

I am going to read the next one just to finish the story and find out who he ends up with (even though I have my guess).
