This one felt a little forced, and there wasn't any real reason to make it a separate book - it could have just been a "Part 1" for the next book in the series. That being said, it's still a fun, quick read.

This was a fun part of the story of Frankie, however it also just felt like it could be included in the next book, Ain't She a Peach.

This is definitely a bridge novella to introduce some backstory and a new resident. There isn't a whole lot going on other than filling in some blanks before the next full novel. I did get to know Frankie better, and she's a lot of fun.
