Hansberry is a great writer, and this play enlightened me on a some complex themes. Overall, it was pretty slow but a short read. I don't usually read plays, so it wasn't a favorite of mine and I found it difficult to get through. However, that doesn't diminish the fact that this is an important piece of literature and everyone should read it if given the chance.
