Cute couple, looking foreward to the next book in the series!

Right as Raine is the first book in a new series by Lucy Lennox. I love it when my favorite writers start new series'. When they give me new characters to fall in love with. When they bring me to new towns I want to move to. Tiller Raine is a famous football star. Mikey is his best friend and personal chef. They've lived together for five years as friends and employee and employer. But they both feel more than that, but there's just lines you can't cross. Mikey is also the coach's son. So much forbidden goodness! When they decide to get away and end up in the quaint town of Aster Valley, they both fall in love with it. They have time to just be together without any outside distractions and they realize how strong their feelings are for each other. Small touches lead to kisses which lead to much more. They seem like an uncommon match, but they just fit. And they also fit right into Aster Valley. While they are falling in love with each other and the town, they forget that they have to get back to reality. Will they be able to be together once they get back home? What does their future look like? Oh my Lord! I'm in love with this book. Tiller is just so funny and sweet and sexy and just everything and his Mikey is freaking hilarious and adorable! They are perfect for each other! I love the way Mikey takes care of him and the way they tease each other about food. This book just made me feel good! I want to move to Aster Valley and be with these people! Can't wait for the next one!

Utter brilliance. Aster Valley is an all new series from Lucy Lennox, and it's already off to a killer start.

I dove in with the prequel, Winter Waites, and nearly salivated for Right as Raine.

Mikey and Tiller are the ultimate #couplegoals. Why? Because each chapter tells a story of friendship carefully woven out of the strings of a boss/employee relationship. Tiller, a professional wide receiver, hires Mikey as his personal chef to help maintain his nutrition. Mikey is the coach's son.

Even without me telling you. Even without you reading this. You know that is the ultimate no-go zone. Forbidden. Off limits. All of it.

So how do they handle it? Establish clear boundaries, and then epically break them one at a time.

What I loved, more than Tiller calling him "my...Mikey" was you witnessed their friendship above everything else. Yes, there was an attraction. Yes, there was this burning desire to be more. But their friendship mattered most. Inside jokes. Traditions. Cozy little insights into one another. Every moment had me gripping not the edges of my Kindle and swooning a bit.

And then I screamed and cried. (No, I won't spoil it).

The book is perfect. I loved every moment, even the painful ones and the ones that made me want to punch Coach in his stupid face.

5/5 stars.

Cute

It was cute. I wanted more. So much UST

“Mm-hm. Yeah. Yep. Yes. That”.

A glorious start to another Lucy Lennox series, and I cannot wait to read the stories of the other Aster Valley residents.

Mikey and Tiller were fabulous as their relationship developed over years and rather a first sight fling, trust and affection were built before love.

Really, really good. Loved the friends to lovers, the learning each other’s bodies, the town, the secondary characters. Fantastic series!
