“Lev?” “Yeah?” “Are you mine?” He laughs lightly at that, slowly pulling back until his eyes hit mine. “I’ve always been yours, Wren.”

This book is an absolute gem! It captivated me from start to finish. Although I read it as a standalone, I can only imagine how much more immersive the experience would be if you start the series from the beginning. The author has masterfully crafted a world that draws you in and keeps you hooked.

Levi and Wren are the epitome of book boyfriends. They possess all the qualities that make them irresistible to readers. Levi’s charm and Wren’s fiery spirit create a dynamic that is both exciting and heartwarming. What I love most is how their relationship evolves throughout the story.

The author’s writing style is engaging and evocative, making it easy to get lost in the pages. The plot is well-paced, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you on your toes. From heartwarming moments to heart-wrenching revelations, this book takes you on an emotional rollercoaster that you won’t want to end.

Overall, Reckless at Westbrook High is a must-read. It has everything you could ask for in a book: compelling characters, a captivating storyline, and a love story that will leave you swooning. I highly recommend giving this series a chance.

« Lev ? »
« Yeah? »
« Are you mine? »
« I’ve always been yours, Wren »

« Levi’s the one, and I’ll do any fucking thing I can to ensure he gets everything he deserves and more. »

« Wren chews his lip to hide a cute ass grin, his baby blue eyes promissing me a million things I never thought I’d have. Family, freedom, love..him. It’s all mine. He’s all mine. »

« I’m keeping him for life, and fuck if I’m about to let any motherfucker take him away from me. He’s mine and he’ll stay mine. Whether he likes it or not. »

« Our heavy breathing mixes together for I don’t know how long and fuck, he tastes like whiskey and smoke and bad decisions that’ll get my ass beat, and I can’t help but crave more. »

Reckless at Westbrook High is the second book in The Kingston Brothers series. This book has a trigger warning at the beginning which is nice for those whom have triggers. This book is told from dual points of view from Wren and Levi.

Levi and Wren have been friends. Levi is gay, and Wren is struggling with his sexuality. He has always been with girls, but he has feelings for Levi. That is making him struggle with himself.

When Wren's past comes back to haunt him, he does what he can to protect himself and Levi. Levi has his own stuff going on behind closed doors.

Wren and his brothers and Callie do what they can to get his past to go away for good. Wren and Levi can't stop their feelings for each other.

This book was great. I loved Wren and Levi and their growth with each other. We learned a lot about both characters and I'm glad they got the ending they did.

I can't wait to read the next book.

Author said this was a standalone,  it the first 3 chapters were really hard to get through with no background of previous book.   Spice was ok, not detailed enough for me.  Lots of missing parts to make the story whole.
