Keeping track with the rest of the series this book was great! This was the story of Blythe and Fate. Will they live their remaining days hating each other or will a romance blossom? Of course there are multiple twists and more characters introduced. I sure hope there is a 4th book!
A HUGE shoutout to the AMAZING Kristin Atherton! She is the best narrator I have ever listened to. Her vocal range is unbelievable. I still can’t believe there isn’t 2-3 narrators for this series!

Enjoyable YA romantasy. The author wove a creative and curious world of mortals and gods. The pace felt inconsistent to me and the story invited more questions than provided answers, but it was unique enough and the estate was intriguing enough that I would consider a revisit and recommendation to fans of the genre.
My main hesitation for a revisit is my distaste for reanimated dead.

“I wove your fate as I once knew it, but you've changed your fate several times over. You are a mystery to me. A sweetbrier, full of thorns in my side."

Overall I enjoyed Blythe and Aris’s characterization and their story. I appreciate Grace’s signature whimsical writing style, but my attention did wane throughout. Perhaps due to the books length, or when Blythe and Aris finally develop reciprocated feelings for each other, the mysterious side plots overshadowed their romance, leaving me feeling a bit cheated. I’m not sure I loved how this ended either.

While Belladonna remains my favorite in the series, it was delightful to return to this world.

My favorite of the series! I just love Blythe so much and was so glad to have a story that focused on her.
