This book is adorable. It throws cannon out the window. Buffy is 8 years old and already with Xander, Willow, and Giles. But it is a super cute story about the time she heard a monster in the closet.

No, no, no. You can’t rewrite cannon and make Buffy some sort of a miraculous child who met all her enemies at once. And no - you can’t redeem The Gentlemen - THEY ARE THE SCARIEST UGLIEST MOTHERF***ERS EVER!!! They do not deserve to be happy-go-lucky picture book characters. No.

I'm no buffy fan but I've gotta admit kim Smith's illustrations made this book a cute read.

The art was adorable I wish the story had more of a point to it. (I know I’m talking about a picture book here but still)

This is so adorable! Sure it could have been a better story about being brave, but it's clearly intended for very small children. The artwork is just too cute, and I loved all the villains callbacks from the show. It's clearly just another collector piece for a big girl like me.

Una bonita forma de adaptar a los personajes de Buffy Cazavampiros para que los más pequeños puedan disfrutar de ellos. En esta ocasión Buffy te cuenta que no siempre fue tan dura como parece en la serie y nos relata una aventura que tiene lugar cuando solo tenía 8 años y el armario de su habitación le daba miedo.
Una original manera de tratar un miedo recurrente en los niños y a la vez acercarles a iconos de la cultura seriéfila de los 90.
Como fan de Buffy lo he disfrutado y lo disfrutaré leyendo con mi hija cuando sea un poco más mayor y domine el inglés ;)
