halfway through this book i took a five minute break to have some breakfast and cried while eating my cereal. david is unimaginably strong.

I don't care want anybody thinks about this book. But, think about one thing. Child abuse will never go away. This happens on a daily basis to a child. This book really broke my heart. It truly is a story of survival and it had me in tears and anger many times.

Writing wise, this was a good read. The negative for me was you get the “ending” at the start of the book. The first chapter is what would typically be the last chapter, followed by the beginning and middle of the book. While that was off putting for me, the book was well written.

En väldigt hemsk bok som tar upp barnmisshandel. Kan int fatt att en mor å far kan behandel ens barn såde. Men ett viktit ämne ere som boken tar upp, å ja hoppas att all läser denhe boken nån gång i deras liv, fastän den e väldigt ledsam å hemsk.
This is a very intimate account of severe child abuse. This book was disturbing but well written. It does not hide from the truth of what child abuse is.
A difficult read about child abuse, but a very good read.
Wow! That was such an emotional read. Highly recommend, but it is very sad. Well written and finished in one sitting. Very happy he was able to overcome this.
