This series is my favorite series of all time! I absolutely love it. Every time I read it I love it more. I am disappointed to hear that this book is only available in ebook format to be released on September 2, 2014. I would much prefer a physical copy to add to my shelf with the rest of the series. But if an ebook is the only way to read it I'll suck it up for this amazing series!!!

I looked at a few reviews before reading this final book in Katie's Dystopian Trilogy and I would recommend others do the same, I didn't read any spoilers so I wasn't 100% how it was going to work out but, as I was aware that things weren't going to end in the predictable way you would like to think, I kind of prepared myself for it... and if I had gone into this last instalment blind then I don't think I would have liked the ending as much as I did... however...

There are a lot of people leaving low star ratings for this book which, kind of made me hesitate to read it as I thought I really wasn't gonna like it but, honestly, Katie Kacvinsky has a fantastic way of describing her character's feelings, thoughts and emotions... there are paragraphs throughout the whole series that are motivational, inspiring, thoughtful, reflective, and beautiful, and even though I would have loved for Maddie and Justin's HEA to be together in a perfect world, I really did like how it ended for them... I could see how Maddie matured and started to think about what was best for her and at the end of it all... it's a Dystopian Trilogy! They never end the way you think they will!...

I have conflicting feelings on the way that some of the scenarios panned out, which is why I couldn't give it the whole 5 stars, but the writing I cannot fault... I would definitely recommend this series if you liked the Hunger Games or Divergent and are a fan of Young Adult Romance genres...

Also... There is a Prequel Novella to Awaken called Maddie's Tattoo... I didn't find it until after I read all of the other three books but, I would highly recommend reading it before the rest if you can... it's very short and doesn't go too in-depth but it does give you an introduction to Jax and it explains her tattoo as well...

I really enjoyed Kavinsky's for two installments of the Awaken series and the whole idea appealed to me. I was very excited to she which picture she would paint of the digital world in the last part.
And now comes the big BUT. But unfortunately Still Point doesn't have the energy or the uniqueness of the first two books. I was extremely disappointed to find out that after a few pages the story turned into your average teenage story. Nothing special, nothing original nothing exciting. What annoyed me most was that the love story did not only become the main focus of the story (you're in the middle of a revolution - get your shit together!) Kacvinsky also introduced a second guy and now Maddie had to decide. To be honest I don't even know why I even finished reading. Everything else just seemed to be a little subplot to the love story.
Besides that I also felt that many of the scenes resembled cheap action movies. Crash - Bang - Bang. Waaaaay over the top. Basically nothing in the book matched. You're going from action movie to romance in the blink of an eye without any connection.
I won't even say anything about the ending except for one thing: unimaginative and cheap. It feels like not much thought was put into it. No surprises.

Unfortunately I have nothing positive to say about the book. I am aware that it's YA but the first two novel are really thrilling and introduce interesting ideas. However, Still Point is by far the worst installment and has none of the great aspects that made me enjoy the other parts.

This whole series was soooo good!!!
Honestly every piece of the puzzle fell into place and I was so happy!!!
Maddie turned in to a kick butt girl and owned her life and decisions.
I reallllly loved Jax! He's my current book boyfriend.
Also I want to read everything Katie has have written because she's an awesome story teller!
