it’s not bad, just … weird. A few incoherent notes:
- oddly slow-paced. There‘s a lot of anxiety and not much of real action
- nice depiction of anxiety disorders though?
- the „who can I really trust“ confusion works pretty well? I didn‘t see all the twists coming
- a
sexual harasser / almost-rapist
should not be a love interest!! I thought that was obvious, but here we are
- also a french accent = being hot? Come on. Is the main character a middle-aged housewife?
- I read this whole ass thing, like 500 pages, yet I feel like I still know NOTHING about what‘s really going on in the story? But I don’t really feel like wasting my time reading another FOUR of those mediocre books either, so I‘m going to have to live with not knowing what the hell is happening. Thanks for that .-.
