Short (~1 hour of audio) and very sweet.

Audio version: For whatever reason, I'm revisiting books I read as a kid and books I read to my kids when they were little. I love Kenneth Grahame's way of never talking down to a child in his books. For those who love a good animal character, this one about the dragon, the kid, and St. George is a classic!

This was really sweet and funny; it felt familiar, I may have read it when I was little, but I don't remember for sure.

Should have left this one in my childhood memories. Definitely not as good as I remembered lol

Silly. And written with overly flowering language. And the dragon just doesn't look nearly as much like a dragon as it ought. But a quite different take on the Knight and the Dragon. The later sections of the book read a little bit more simply and with somewhat faster pacing, drawing you into the tale. A clever story but could have been done just a bit better with both the writing and the art. 3.5 of 5.
