Mole Man as a Nice Guy was irritatingly genius, there was a primer on counting in binary disguised as a dream sequence, and there was a whole issue drawn as a Choose Your Own Adventure... not really sure how this one COULD have gone wrong for me.

A lot of people have said it, but I love how relatable Doreen is.
Also, beating her own nightmares was fantastic. And Count Nefaria had me ROLLING.

The last comic in this volume is an ABSOLUTE WINNER.

Ryan North continues to delight with his fun, fast paced plots and puns. The main storyline deals with Squirrel Girl tackling the dating world and Mole Man and the dating montage made me laugh more in 2 pages than most rom-coms do in 90 minutes.
My only criticism is that I take my choose your own adventures seriously and the opening one of this book fell flat. Unwritten showed how to do one successfully in comics, with plenty of page flipping and varied outcomes. There's not much variety to the one presented here. Still, a very enjoyable book. A fun Sunday afternoon read.

This one was pretty great! I loved the dating parts with Mole Man, and Brad, and the sentinel! And the choose your adventure one was great also. I wasn't so much a fan of issue 11 where it's all a dream, but you can't be perfect all the time.
