I love Squirrel Girl. This series is so fun and light, and even when the more serious Avengers show up, they're more light-hearted versions of themselves. I continue to love the Twitter posts, and the choose-your-own-adventure element of the first issue was fun, albeit a little confusing.

I've been trying to imagine Milana Vayntrub as Doreen, and I finally see it.

Also, I kind of want to go back on OkCupid and copy the profile Tippy Toe wrote for Doreen and see if anyone gets it.

So reliably enjoyable. I was not super-into the arc, which felt a bit obvious to me, but I did love a lot of the individual scenes and lines and gags. Good fun.

I love Squirrel Girl. Her enthusiasm and critical thinking skills are inspiring on even the bleakest of days. I wasn't super into the time travel shenanigans of volume 3, but the return to the present in volume 4 and silly issues like online dating was so fun and refreshing. NEVER STOP MAKING THIS PLEASE!

omg this series just continues to exemplify the kind of peak ridiculousness I love about comics in general and Doreen Green specifically

like yes please let's have a Choose Your Own Adventure full of bee facts

and demonstrate the true power of friendship and empathy for Mole Man

Sunny and funny on a dark and unfunny day. Would have liked it a wee bit better if the footnotes weren't so wee.

This is the best TPB in the history of TPB's, or comics for that matter, and it's not cos I'M IN IT!!! (That's right, in Letters from Nuts at the end of issue 9, that's me like a year ago, with a SGesque hair cut! Just another Friendly Neighborhood Librarian doing my bit.....OK, so maybe that IS why I love it the best. Sue me.)
But it's also just funny and I definitely appreciate SG's dating angst.
Anyway. READ IT!

I LOVED the Mole Man storyline. North & Henderson are such an amazing team, and I love reading their shit.

Nancy is the best Get A Grip friend.
