Well, that's the nice thing about trees. They're not going anywhere. You can take all the time you need to get to know them.

This book was a delight to listen to. It picks up more or less where the first book left off, and brings the duo of Mosscap and Dex into human settlements. Their journey forces them to confront a lot of questions about individual needs, purpose (once again), respecting and supporting ourselves and others, and much more.

It's as much of a cozy read as the first one, though I preferred the first one a bit more precisely due to its wild nature settings. But it's perfect if you're looking for something that is hopeful, bright, sweet and short enough to read (or listen to, like I did!) in-between other books.
