I sincerely hope for more with this series since the ending could easily be a tie off or a place to pick up. Silas still has a lot of backstory I desperately need to hear more about!! Please read this if you read Sorcery of Thorns, you will not regret it!!!

Elisabeth and Nathaniel are finally settling into a peaceful life together, but the ancestors of Thorn Manor have other ideas. Silas is not pleased.
rating:
☆☆☆☆ 4.5
my thoughts:
I loved this novella for Sorcery of Thorns; it was a great experience to be back at Thorn Manor with Nathaniel, Elisabeth, and Silas. Mercy as well, though she's a minor character.
If you're missing the world of badass librarians, fashionable demon servants, stubborn rivals, and magic, this novella will certainly take you sweeping back into it all once again.
Moderate: Confinement
Minor: Child death, Death of parent, and Murder

I had a lot of fun reading this I think I could happily read more novellas about these characters getting up to more things like battling their own house to be able to get outside the front door. Or even a whole other full length novel if Margaret Rogerson ever decides she wants to write more in this world. I hope she does because I feel like there's still loads left that could be explored.

This was a fun novella to read. I loved getting to see a bit more about these characters especially as Sorcery of Thorns was left somewhat open ended.
