I waffled between really liking this book, and absolutely hate. The epilogue was the deciding factor. Time travel is not possible, and I really dislike the “what if” aspect. What if is a guessing game and I don’t like it…in books, in my classroom, or in real life.

This was my first Liane Moriarty read, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I found it a slow-medium read but it had me challenging my moral compass at various intervals throughout the read. I found myself really connecting to the characters and trying to put myself in their shoes. The ending left me thinking deeply about life, but in a happy, content way.
