I feel so depressed right now

The book was great untill the accident. I know it had to happen but

Then, in the epilogue,
Spoilerit appears Jean-Paul had nothing to do with Janie dying.

Poor Polly!! and just to make things worse, the writer tells us what the little girl could have been, had she not lose her hand.
And I don't even know how to begin with Tess's story and the fact that Connor will never know he has a daughter.

I got so involved with the characters ...

The secret is pretty typical. After it was revealed, I couldn't get back to the book for a few days. I trudged on though because I realized I wanted to know how this secret could propel people. It was interesting to see what each family did, how each individual reacted to a certain circumstance. My favorite part was the epilogue. It only makes me wonder how many different paths my own life could have taken.

I recommend that you need to give your full attention to this story. It is told in 3rd person and alternates between three women. These characters were well developed and the secondary characters added to the story to make it more interesting. The epilogue took me by surprise. The only thing that had me put off was that I didn't like any of the main characters.

Got this as a blind date book. Felt like the build up was a little slow but the twist at the end was crazy. I like how neatly it wrapped up and how it talked about what could have happened/everything the characters would never know

I enjoyed Big Little Lies a lot more! However, very well written with interesting characters, per Moriarty's usual.
