Very boring and character dynamic became boring after 3 books. Shadow and bone was the best one out of the three

i’d maybe give this a 3.5 but i really enjoyed the end to this trilogy. i am glad mal and alina ended up together and the ending was sweet. finally done this trilogy i can move onto what will hopefully be a lot more enjoyable – six of crows ! very excited for the netflix adaptation of this though!!!

I really enjoyed the finale of this trilogy. The whole series was such a quick read. I love all the characters. I can't want to read the Six of Crows duology and King of Scars next year. I am intrigued to see how many characters will overlap in the new stories.
Alina as a character has grown so much. She felt so empty in the original book and in this one she was strong but also vulnerable. I think all the characters improved (including Mal.)
