Truly absurd, but the illustrations are lovely and it kept my three-year-old's interest.

I don't always like books with animal characters, but this one was pretty cute.

Readaloud with my three year old. He easily grasped the story and thought the story was funny. I didn’t enjoy it nearly as much.

Mercy Watson is a pampered pig, who lives with the Watsons. In this book, Mercy saves the day in a very unique way.

Some light humor. Great First Chapter book. Fun and light hearted.

A great book to bridge the gap between readers and for real first chapter books (for real meaning magic treehouse and junie b. jones level difficulty). Cute illustrations come off a little vintagey, which I love.
