Selten so oft laut gelacht beim Lesen eines Buches. Unglaublich lustige selbstironische Behandlung des Vampir-Mythos im Kontext der im vorherigen Teil etablierten Stranger Times-Redaktion. Ich würde am liebsten den dritten Teil sofort lesen, aber der kommt erst nächstes Jahr raus.

It's unfortunate but the first book in this series was just too good.

Also, we needed more scenes with Grace here!! That said... I'm optimistic for #3 in the series - fingers crossed!

My rating - Three Stars.
I did enjoyed this book and I didn't love it also the cover of book was simple but stunning. The paced of plot was bit to slow for my liking and I feel the plot dragged a little bit. The writing was okay. Both The atmosphere and the world building was great but I like it flash out bit more. The ending of book was okay and I like the characters but I would have them to flash out bit.

not as good as the stranger times as a whole but it was so so so funny! the first like 100 pages were kind of a drag to get through but i persevered and the rest of the book ate! so much fun! banecroft actually gives me life bc i love annoying people too!! also reggie so goated. i really liked the talking dog.

Für Fans von Douglas Adams und klassischem Grusel. Der zweite Teil der Serie liest sich ebenso süffig, wie der vorangegangene. Jedoch sollte ein Autor seinem Buch keinen mehrseitigen Epilog anhängen müssen, der dem Leser im Nachgang nochmals die Handlung erklärt. Daher vergebe ich trotz allen Spaßes: vier von fünf glotzäugigen Hirnparasiten.

An entertaining read, though I definitely struggled because I didn't remember much from the first book and the many different POVs. Good storyline, still the same hilariously unique characters and new interesting side charaters and the overarching plot is getting more and more intriguing. I liked the final reveal of how these vampires actually came to existence, though the resolution of the problem was dealt with quite quickly.
Will probably pick up the next volume when I'm in the mood for some lighthearted entertainment.
