Weirdly or not weirdly this made me warm and fuzzy like princess diaries (the movie, I really didn’t completely dig the book).

It’s so funny. I keep laughing throughout the whole book. Love Daisy and Dad. I felt a little bit off with the writing as it has a lot of modern slangs and some abbreviations I don’t know but I turn my mind off and just go with the flow. It’s very cute, funny, Fast paced, and light hearted. I wish I could read Miles POV as well because I felt the Romance started from 0 to 10 quite quickly at the latter half of the book. And I couldn’t grasp when Mikes start to have a feeling for Daisy in that way. there is some things I didn’t expect in the end which made me felt very excited and couldn’t put the book down.

“'The painting needs a dagger?' I ask.
'Why? In case it gets in street fights with the other art?'”
My reading was in a bit of a slump, and this super cute and genuinely funny book was just the thing I needed! Daisy was a fantastic heroine, smart, funny, sassy, cared so much for her family, and I love that she's from Florida like me. Miles, the love interest, was a bit iffy at first, but once his personality blossomed out a bit, I couldn't stop swooning. And I found the plot to be actually engaging and interesting. I look forward to reading more novels by Rachel Hawkins in the future.

Wait, this book was so cute. I genuinely enjoyed our main character, Daisy, and she made me laugh out loud on multiple occasions. This book is pretty short, so everything could’ve been fleshed out more—but this is exactly what I needed. So cute.

I really enjoyed this. It was a light hearted fluffy read, though I do feel like we skipped a lot of things. I would have liked to have seen this book go all the way to the wedding, but oh well. This book was far from perfect, but it was a lot of fun.
