Can you tell that I absolutely loved this? So That Happened was so fun! And funny! I loathed not being able to read it yesterday after work, so I sneaked in some reading time at work today, and I kinda wish that it was still mask season at work because of the number of times I had to stop myself from laughing out loud!
Anyhoo, really funny, sweet and a perfect little closed-door romcom, if that's your kinda thing.

3.5. I love when two people who seem like would have nothing in common find their way to other. I really enjoyed the first three quarters of this book but unfortunately the ending fell a little flat for me.
This was a fun, light, romance. Books are always fun when the characters give you second hand embarrassment which might have happened....on a plane, at work, in a car.... Those poor characters and their fun awkwardness.

This was a super cute, slow-burn, closed-door workplace romance!
Annie is quirky, funny, and unashamedly herself! Liam, at first, comes off as a stern grump, but as Annie gets to know him, she's completely convinced that he is a cinnamon roll on the inside! I think one of my favorite things in this book was Liam's (and his brother Luke's) relationship with his niece! It was so adorable and just proved that Liam is the biggest softie!
Annie and Liam have a rough start to their friendship, but once they get past that, their relationship is the sweetest! Even though this book is closed-door, there is plenty of tension! If you're a Sarah Adams fan, I think you'd enjoy this one! I will definitely be reading more from Katie Bailey!

This book had potential. Two stars for the premise. The plot fell pretty flat for me.
