Este clásico es tremendo. El corazón duele con cada carta del joven Werther.

A charming book. Protagonist is quite loveable and you feel his suffering quite deeply. A small dainty read, would recommend,
The original angsty youth novel. Young Werther suffers from the affliction of unrequited love, and it turns out bad for him. I read the first English translation which made the book feel a little more dated than it otherwise might have done, but I think the author captured the spirit of an emerging romanticism that became the center of a literary movement about 4 decades after this book's original publication. It's a short episotlary novel that's sometimes a little heady but nonetheless an undoubted classic.

Cringe stalker Werther. Also boring, the book hasn’t aged well as Emily May said. Too much hysteria over a woman who didn’t give a fuck. I guess romanticism isn’t my cup of tea, at least not how it was presented here. Also, personal preference is that I like better descriptions and development of dynamics and relationships considering characters, such a short book didn’t do it for me, considering we were listening to Werther sobbing 80% of the time. And what’s so special about Lotte? She just seems like a perfect example of a stereotypical woman goddamn
A bonus star for some philosophical remarks I liked

A decent book that had a somewhat typical story. I really like the differing modes of writing, especially easily to appreciate as its an old book.
