Quick impressions: Overall, compared to the first volume, this one was disappointing. It has fast pacing, flash, explosions, and killing, and that is about it. The plot is a convoluted mess that makes me thankful this is on DC's Black Label (i.e. an alternative story).

By the way, that 2 out of 5 stars is just barely.

Pretty cool, but not nearly as good as I remember the first one being. Still, I’m glad to see more of this take on the character.

This book was pretty crazy. An interesting continuation on a story that could have been a one-off. I appreciated the similarities/callbacks to Knightfall, the most notable being the inclusion of Azrael, but there are some pretty vital differences that keep it interesting. I really enjoyed seeing the friendship of Bruce and Harley, it was very sweet.
