I enjoy a good romantic suspense, but this book had a LOT going on. The whole secret illegal adoption could have been enough on its own, but then there are some psychic powers thrown in and a whole mess of gross family stuff with the rich family the child comes from. The best parts of the book are the ones that deal directly with Daegan, Kate, and Jon. I'm not sorry I read this, but it's definitely not Jackson's best.
