While I really enjoyed this book I felt like the ending was terribly rushed and had absolutely no time to actually unfold all that was happening in a fitting manner. And this is actually the only reason why I gave this one only three stars but I truly hoped for more action, more excitement, more pain, more love. Just more. I got the feeling that the author repeatedly told herself "100 pages and then I’m done. 100 more." and that’s why the ending is so rushed. It’s basically what I do when I have to write a paper for uni that I don’t really want to write...

Definitely the best out of the 3. I think this was the only one that had twist that I didn't see coming from far away. Also teared up at some of the last chapters. Nice, satisfying ending.

Amani’s story comes to an end in this final installment filled with adventure, action, and encounters with ancient, magical beings. I thought the story was well-paced. I thought it had the right amount of action and romance. This was a very enjoyable series. It’s definitely worth reading.

I really liked following Amani’s journey as a character. I think she grew a lot in this book, and I liked how her relationship with Jin turned out.

A couple deaths were quite devastating, but I guess we were never going to get to the end without losing some favorites. I appreciate that storyline wrapped up neatly, but not too neatly. I appreciate when authors make those hard choices and can end the lives of characters that we are hoping have a happy ending, even if it does make me sad.

I do wish we had met a certain ancient being we had been told about. I was sure we would at least glimpse that character. That’s really my only “complaint.”

3.5 stars

Now that it’s over, I want to start this series all over again. The best ❤️❤️❤️
