I adored this whole series, but this was my least favorite. I felt like the beginning was a little hard to get into and I had a trouble wanting to listen to it. The ending made it all worth it though. I was crying so hard.

I probably should have read this closer to when I read book 2 of the series. It took a while for me to remember how all of the characters worked together. I probably would have loved this book. I still enjoyed it and am glad to have closure to this story.

“We would be stories long after we were gone. Imperfect, inaccurate stories. Stories that could never even come close to reality.”

I loved the first 2 books. I read them nonstop. But I was a bit disappointed by this ending. It felt a bit rushed.

What a satisfying ending to an action-packed, magic-filled trilogy. There was so much tension and drama, and I did get emotional when certain plot twists happened. The character development was great and there was just the right amount of resolution.

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. Alwyn Hamilton, I take off my crown to you.

I know I read this but never shelved it.

this was such and entertaining trilogy, the world was magical and felt so real. i really enjoyed the campfire legends spread trough the book and the fact that we saw what really happened. amani is my girl, amazing protag, i wanna protect her at all cost. the whole cast of characters stole my heart, even those we lost along the way. this was fast paced and compelling. i truly rec this whole serie.

Once there was a boy from the sea who fell in love with a girl from the desert. ( ... ) He feared that she might burn him alive or that he might drown her. Until finally he stopped fighting it and set himself on fire for her.

This trilogy has it all. Courage, suffering, love, heroes, deceit, sacrifice, magic, action and friendship for life.
It's about less than perfect people, and so making not always the best decisions, but they try. They do the best they can. And I loved that.

Loved reading this adventure.
Rebel of the Sands has become one of my favorite series.
