This was a captivating and beautiful conclusion to a very fun series. Action packed, this kept me reading LONG after my bedtime 100 pages quickly turned into the whole book! I feel like this book really examines Amani's first quest, the true quest of all three books, to find out who she is, and what she's made of. Turns out she's made of pretty stern stuff as she tries to take the best parts of all her friends - Jin, Shazad, Ahmed, all the Demdjii - and rectify some major wrongs and move her beloved desert into the future. This was a delight full of myth and magic, love, loss, and a very satisfying conclusion to some beloved characters. I will definitely be revisiting Miraji.

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this series so much. I just thought that it would be an all right read, a read like any other fantasy YA novel, but the writing was so good, so beautiful, so heartfelt, and all I could do was fall in love with the books. Fall in love with the characters, the world, the writing. I'm sad it's over, but this book was just the perfect ending and I'm happy to have read this series.
Honestly, not sure what I can say. I absolutely loved this series. Everything about it was so well done! I finished this book and was immediately sad there wasn’t more to read. Definitely a new favorite of mine!

Officially my favorite book of the series – and I also think the best book! Loved seeing what Amani had to go through and the choices she had to make in this one. I would LOVE to say more...but spoilers... Excellent conclusion to an excellent series.
An amazing finale! This last book was incredible. It had me giggling, crying, laughing and pacing the floor at some moments. Amani and Jin are one of my all time favorite couples, even though they make me so mad sometimes! Also Sam! Why did he have to die?? I love him so much
