I enjoy collections of letters, of correspondence between people. What do you say? What do you write? What gets left out, what is hinted at, what is the mood conveyed? In a time where the lack of punctuation can lead a text message conversation astray, how does one maintain an air of joviality and not offense?

Here, there are two men who at the top of their craft, writing about business and family and things they deem important. It is obviously a labor of love and respect, even as these men have lives (and Williams, a short temper). In it, one can read care and concern, and an urge to get ideas across with no misunderstanding, something I aspire to in my own writing and want to encourage in others that write me.

Very enjoyable.
