4.25/5!! This was the first time I ever read anything on this level of spook! Yeah, I'm sure there are worst things to read if I wanted to get scared, but this was perfect for me. Just the right amount of creepy mixed with intrigue and mystery. Things got somewhat predictable with certain aspects at some point, but it didn't take away from the build up to the end.

Speaking of which, I didn't really get much closure with the ending. It all felt sort of rushed, especially with so many things going on with the story. At the same time though, a lot was answered, running back to it. Maybe there’s so much mystery with Gallant i can’t help but feel like there should have been more to it.

All in all though, I thought it was a great and quick read!
