Une excellente histoire qui fait grandir spirituellement si on est prête a l’entendre. Sinon c’est une histoire de voyage, d’aventure et de rebonds vraiment bien écrite

Starting with an expectation of being brought on a spiritual journey i was quickly caught identifying with the first few insights. However the characters lacked any identifiable traits and we were forced along a ridiculous yet mundane and even sometimed boring journey where a great spiritual enlightenment is forced by ritual and deus ex machina. Just another religious parable. Perhaps james redfield could better tell this story in graphic novel form and rely less on written narrative.
I'm not much of a "new age" kind of guy, so I only read this because a friend thought it was great. I think it's half-baked and stupid. Sorry.
I wish I had read it ten years ago when I shelved it here as to-read.

It would be so-so as a book on personal growth, but as a novel, it stretches far, far too much and takes in too many gullible readers who want it to be real, to the point of traveling to focal points of "spiritual power." Dreck.
