Das Buch regt zum Nachdenken an. Ich habe nichts erwartet, als ich damit begonnen habe. Die negativen Stimmen habe ich erst im Nachhinein gelesen… ich glaube die Erwartung ist immer recht hoch bei spirituellen Büchern … sie werden schnell in die Esoterikecke verbannt. Ich fand das Buch trotzdem interessant und an einigen Stellen sogar richtig spannend. Ob man alles glauben und übernehmen will, ist natürlich jedem selbst überlassen.
I was so excited to read this book after it was recommended to me, but I just couldn't get past the flat characters who "decided" to do this and that. It was so tedious. The edition I read had a bonus section in the back for discovering your own Célestine Adventure and enjoyed this small section much better than the bulk of the book. I could not finish the novel.

This book encourages a spiritual awakening. It encourages you to enhance and tune in to your own abilities with the power of the earth around you. I’ve read it a few times over the last decade. Every time I read the book, I learn something something new.

This book is a must read if you wonder about why we’re here and how to heal each other and the planet. An adventure story laden with life changing insights . However, much of the teachings in this book have been appropriated from cultures who have honored these insights forever. The way indigenous characters were treated in the text was also distasteful and did not lend credit to any of these practices. Finally the exoticism in this book supported harmful notions that one may only reach spiritual enlightenment in a place like Peru.
Really enjoyed this book and how relevant it feels even now. It’s given me the revelations and trust in my own spirituality and life’s journey. Everyone should
