Very hard to read. Everything is confusing and like a puzzle you have to put together with missing pieces. There are a lot of names that are all very similar and characters that are hard to tell apart. The only interesting thing that happens is in the last 100 pages. I would recommend looking up the spark notes summary and watching it rather than reading the book — it is way harder to read it.

Finally! Felt like it took ages for me to finish this absolute classic. I always found this book intimidating because of its length when I'd see it in my brother's shelf so I'm really glad that I got to finish it in less than a month. 

Unfortunately, it was neither the best of times nor the worst of times; personally, it felt like there was a lot of chapters that dragged on for way too long and there was unnecessary details of a person's life that literally added nothing to the plot (like that one chapter that took a look into Jerry's life, there is not one point in this entire storyline where I gave a single fuck about Jerry but sure go ahead and give an entire chapter for HIM). 

Also, the first half of the book just sort of confused me,  I didn't know what was happening most of the time and I was a bit frustrated but thankfully I got it figured out midway through. I am never reading this book again. I'm glad that I read it, that's for sure, but this just wasn't my cup of tea at all.
