I always find it tricky to rate and rank real life stories, and this one is no exception.
However, this was a graphic novel, which was such an interesting way of telling this real-life experience.
A very clever and informative way of portraying a real-life story. The illustrations were exceptional.

There is nothing I can say about this masterpiece that hasn't been said already. So all I'll say is: please read this book. Let your kids read it. Give it to your parents. Your colleagues, friends, neighbors, and yoga instructors. Literally, everyone should read this. Especially during times when books like Maus (ha! as if there are other books like Maus) are under threat of censorship. The only thing banning Maus does is ensure that a whole generation doesn't understand the true weight and depth of "Never again."
Great read! Went by very quickly. Was surprised that most of the story was pre-Auschwitz, but it did give a lot of insight into how comforts and humanity were slowly stripped away. Very much enjoyed the art style as well.

güzeldi, yaşanan bir hikâye olduğunu bilince daha da seviyorum. çizimler çok hoştu ve hayvan şeklinde yorumlayıp çizmesi cidden hoşuma giden bir detay oldu. bu kitabı yazma/çizme serüvenini dahil etmesi de tatlı bir detay olmuş.
fakat gerçek hikâye ya da kurgu, hep aynı şeyler... o yüzden daha önce okuduğum/izlediğim diğerlerinden pek bir farkı olmadığından aman aman etkilemedi. tabii yani olaylar belli, farklı ne olabilir diyorsunuzdur, bir de kurgu değil yaşanan olay... bir şey demiyorum o yüzden, okuması güzel bir yolculuktu benim için. :)

Que maravilla de novela ilustrada. No me esperaba que el autor pudiese expresar todo lo que expresa en sus viñetas.
El relato, además de trágico y desgarrador es apasionante.
