Mooolto molto carino, una lettura leggera ma emozionante.

This is the first Coho book I've read and I am beyond furious with myself for not picking it up sooner.

This book follows medical student Tate who's moving into her older brothers apartment whilst she looks for her own. After a long drive she's excited to finally get inside and just relax, but her plans come tumbling down when she arrives to a drunk man in front of the door. This man turns out to be her brothers best friend (and pilot) Miles.

I love these characters, the secrets, the shameless flirting , it's just fun! Miles is your typical emotionally damaged, sexy train wreck and I am HERE. FOR. HIM. I really enjoyed that we got to read into his past whilst seeing his present and I couldn't stop reading. It's definitely one of those books that demands your attention whenever you put it down. It made me laugh, swoon, cry and I even got caught blushing a few times.

I am a sucker for the brothers best friend trope but this is first time whilst reading this trope that I've been so touched by how emotionally vulnerable our leading male has been forced to become and let's be clear, we support men showing their emotions here.

Also can we have a show of hands who actually doesn't love a protective big bother? Because ugh I wish I had a brother like Corbin.

I can't wait to pick up more books by colleen hoover so please recommend me some of your favourites?

I feel like i’ve read this EXACT scenario somewhere before but it was easy to read

DID NOT FINISH

I'm glad this book got spoiled for me when I started it cuz I'd have gone mad if I read it and it disappointed me so I just skipped to read the ending and.. yeah I still got mad.

I don't like miles sorry.

I understand him but I can't stand him at all also tate is dumb idc he did all that stupid shi and she forgave me easily. I wanted to see that man DRAGGED BEGGING for her to forgive him for at least a YEAR.
idgaf ab his trauma tate does not deserve what he did to her, he's literally a walking red flag.

maybe Colleen hoover books are not really my thing I don't enjoy the plots.

Read in 2018, but didn't type my review on goodreads

This was really toxic.

I didn't understand Tate's obsession with Miles, especially after he said he didn't want to be with her. And there were so many elements that were just so uncomfortable. And the characters weren't likeable. It just wasn't good.

Only redeeming qualities were the fast read and the backstories were interesting.

This had potential. I didn’t like the random poetry. I wish it included miles current POV.
fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

The only good thing about this book is how easy it was to read. Wow these characters SUCKED. They didnt even have anything in common or like each other. The MMC has so many problems that are just miraculously fixed by visiting his ex one time? Just crazy. then they FMC just let's her brother do absolutely everything for her, and then is upset when he has opinions about her life. Super dumb.
