It's been a long time since I've read a Jodi Picoult book. I still really enjoy them, the depth they go into, the well rounded characters, all of it. Do I really care about bee's? Only as much as the average person. Sometimes I glossed over the bee bits to be honest. This book was so good, a slow burn, but I feel most of Picoult's books are. If your willing to put in the time, it's worth it. I will say the ending was . . Almost a little lacklustre. I had assumed the ending then convinced myself out of it multiple times.

I would possibly give this book a 3.5.
This book has a lot of heavy topics, like a lot, can we take a minute for the twists oh my Goodness, did not see some of them coming.
To be honest sometimes I dislike when to or more authors work on a book because it can wither be so good or so bad and this book was just mediocre.
I will be trying the recipe in this book that they show at the end of the book, it sounds really good and delicious. I will be trying it.
I feel like is Jodi had wrote this book on her own it could have been so good.

Why can't Jodi Picoult end a book without some stupid twist that makes me stop reading at 98% finished? I think she has a professional career in wasting my time
