A nice setup volume to this new arc! It's great a kid from the "ultimate evil of the universe" joins the group, and The Pride may not be dead yet. Goodies!
this is getting interesting! new cameos!!!!!!
also, please Vic don't break my heart

I'm enjoying these manga size graphic novels to appease the youth in 2009/ whenever this came out.

The introduction to Victor's character-- very interesting backstory, I'm intrigued to find out where it goes.
Ah, yes, Old Lace is not a velociraptor but rather a Deinonychus, I had forgotten!
Karolina continues to be gay, Chase and Gert continue to give me life. I feel like Molly and Nico were a bit sidelined in this volume as far as character development goes, mostly due to the introduction of a lot of new characters (including Victor, of course).

This is a few volumes into Runaways, and it's pretty good. I've read a few of these before (not sure which ones specifically, got them all mixed up), but they're a pretty awesome team and not really like any of the others out there. This one's got really nice art that's consistent throughout, and a fairly well rounded story as well, if a bit cliche at points. There's a fair bit of catch-up stuff included in this one in case you've not read Runaways before, which is always helpful as well- I've read bits and pieces of this series, so I always need to re-ground myself as to which part of the story I'm in.
I love the mixture of characters, and seeing some badass girls out there as well. Still not sure as to who it is on the front cover though... Molly?

Volume 3 provided a satisfactory end to the Runaways' story, but I'm glad they decided to continue it -I found the issues in this volume to be better than most of the issues in the first three volumes.
Still really enjoying this series, and the art is definitely getting better, I think. I love the support group for people who were teen superheroes -- it seems that being a teen superhero is a bit like being a child actor, in some ways. ;)
Still fine, but has shifted too much plot and not enough character development for my taste. Ready for Rainbow Rowell's relaunch in the fall!
