Fast

Not much to say really,a great fast paced book, a clever story and a captivating writing style. Onto the next one, peace

I listened to this book, unabridged, on Audible. I found it repetitious and was very impatient to have it just finish. Other reviews I read remarked that it wasn't as good as Bourne #1 and Bourne #3, but helped with the overall timeline of the Bourne narrative.

DID NOT FINISH: 9%

Insufferably boring, and some scenes were very much 'man-writing-women'

Actually a bit better than the first one I think. Fun thriller.

I first read this book easily over twenty years ago. I love the movies with Matt Damon. This book and the movie with the same title have absolutely nothing in common except for the main character and the title. That's it. Even so, love both the book and the movie.

Fantastic book. This series keeps getting better and better. More so than the first book, this entry has nothing to do with the movie that borrows the same name. I loved the first book, but this blew it out of the water. Highly recommend this to anyone remotely interested in thrillers or spy thrillers.

I enjoyed it, but it was definitely not what I would call a "page-turner". Ludlum's got nothing on John Grisham or Vince Flynn in that regard. The story seemed to be a little slow to start with, but it did pick up about halfway through. In a nutshell - the novel has absolutely nothing in common with the film other than the character of David Webb (Or Jason Bourne, depending on what name you wish to call him by). Marie is killed in the opening scene of the film, but she is a major character in the novel. Conklin is alive in the book, while he is very much dead in the film. Go figure. At any rate, I hesitantly recommend the novel, as it is an enjoyable read, even if the pacing is a little off at times. I now move on to The Bourne Ultimatum, hoping that I will not be cursing myself (& Ludlum) in short order. On Amazon.com the general consensus is that the third book is a piece of crap. The anal-retentive completionist in me says I must see for myself :)

Ostatecznie odjęłabym kilka wydarzeń i skróciła książkę minimum o pięćdziesiąt stron. Mimo tego, sięgnę po kolejną część, ponieważ niesamowicie intryguje mnie historia, jakże odmienna od filmowej adaptacji.
